The Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT) will be holding its 17^th Annual Convention at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, Ortigas Center, Quezon City on August 19-20, 2010.

In cooperation with the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. (PTSI), the convention dubbed, “PhilCAT 2010: Partnership Towards Strategic Interventions in TB” will provide significant insights into fighting tuberculosis, a curable disease that continues to affect thousands of Filipinos.

Some of the lectures for audiences’ delight include:  TB and HIV, TB in Children, Managing MDR-TB, local policy directions in TB control, involvement of private sector in TB control, among others.
